Big Five Personality Profile

Part 1:

Considering the readings within this week’s textbook on the “Big Five Personality Profile”, describe the best and suitable profile for your present (or chosen) line of work? (Do not simply provide a list; must be an analysis.)

Part 2:

How do you feel your exact profile would differ from the above response? What are at least two things you can do in order to positively change each dimension?

Response Parameters

The initial response to the discussion questions must be 250-350 words in length. You are expected to respond to at least two of your peers’ postings per discussion thread. I will ask follow-up questions or an extension of the dialogue. I expect you to provide a response to me; these follow-up questions from me do not count as your peer response requirement. Responses must be substantive to promote continued learning. These responses cannot be a simple one or two sentences or a “Good, bad, or I agree” posting; you must make a more in-depth reply. You should also make an effort to find a source to support your follow-up response. The intent is to post peer responses earlier in the week so that dialogue occurs and you maximize the learning.

Part 3

What is the difference between Deming’s and Crosby’s approach? How does Crosby plan to attain Zero Defects? How does Juran differ from Cosby?

Minimum of one page in length

You are expected to write primarily in your own voice, using paraphrase, summary, and synthesis techniques when integrating information from class and outside sources. Use an author’s exact words only when the language is especially vivid, unique, or needed for technical accuracy. Failure to do so may result in charges of Academic Dishonesty.

Overusing an author’s exact words, such as including block quotations to meet word counts, may lead your readers to conclude that you lack appropriate comprehension of the subject matter or that you are neither an original thinker nor a skillful writer.
